Introducing the new Craft-a-CROPolis! We are excited to announce a fresh approach to our crafting event, designed to allow students to focus on their crop time and connect with new friends without the distraction of attending classes. This year, we are moving away from traditional classes and instead will feature a schedule of free-to-attend demos throughout the event. These demonstrations will showcase a variety of products, tools, and techniques in paper crafting, sewing, and mixed media, offering you the chance to learn from experts and explore new creative possibilities. Join us in this vibrant crafting community as we transform the way we create and inspire each other!
Calling all crafters, creators, and artisans! We are excited to invite you to our annual crafting event held at the Clanton Performing Arts Center in Clanton, AL, from October 20th to 24th. Whether you are a paper crafter, sewist, or any type of creator, this is the perfect opportunity to unleash your creativity, learn new skills, and connect with fellow enthusiasts.
Who Should Attend:
This event welcomes crafters of all kinds! Whether you’re a seasoned pro or just starting out, there’s something for everyone. Bring your friends, family, or crafting group to enjoy a fun and inspiring atmosphere.

Ticket Price: $199.99 (Space is limited)
Registration: Opens Monday at 3 PM

An 8-foot table and chair for your crafting projects
Access to electrical outlets for your tools

Event Schedule:
Monday, October 20th:
Registration opens at 3 PM
Crafting floor open from 3 PM to 9 PM
Reception at 6:30 PM to meet fellow crafters and share ideas
"Showcase your state pride and decorate for your favorite holiday! Add a personal touch to your table by decorating it with items that represent your home state. Let's celebrate our home states together" (no need to decorate your entire table, just add a touch of decor to represent your home state.)
Tuesday, October 21st – Thursday, October 23rd:
Crafting floor open from 8 AM to 9 PM
Participate in workshops, demos, and networking opportunities
Friday, October 24th:
Crafting floor open from 8 AM to 4 PM
Final day to showcase your creations and connect with others
Important Notes:
Your crop table is your little craft/sewing room away from home. You will want to bring along your favorite crafting tools. You may even want to plan a project or two to complete at your table. This is a perfect time to complete some unfinished projects!

Don't forget to pack a power strip, the longer the cord the better!
You may want to bring a cushion for your chair, some students have even brought their chairs.
We also suggest a sweater or light jacket. Just in case! Tennis shoes are ideal as the floor in the crop room is concrete.
The crop room is large, you may want to bring a small cooler to keep at your table for convenience. Sylvia does a fantastic job getting a variety of snacks but you are welcome to bring your own. Please do not bring food or drinks for the group as we do not know everyone's dietary restrictions.
You will receive a class schedule at registration on Tuesday morning.

This is an in-person event, lodging, and transportation are not provided.
DUE TO THE NATURE OF THIS EVENT, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AVAILABLE.
PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO THE UNIQUE TEACHING APPROACH WE EMPLOY, WE REGRETFULLY CANNOT SEND OUT A "KIT" IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO ATTEND IN PERSON. WE HAVE CAREFULLY DESIGNED OUR CLASSES TO PROVIDE AN IMMERSIVE AND INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCE THAT SIMPLY CANNOT BE REPLICATED THROUGH A KIT.
